Mr. Hubbard has dedicated his legal career to protecting the rights of employees. During his first summer of law school, he worked at the headquarters of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. From there forward, he continued to advocate for employees at his roles with well-respected firms in the D.C. area, where he earned his degree from Georgetown, and in Seattle, his hometown.
During his time at law school, he focused his studies on employment law, was a member of the Poverty Law Journal, interned with a civil rights non-profit, worked alongside some of the most respected employee rights attorneys in our nation’s capital, and spent his final semester working in the Georgetown Law Civil Rights Clinic. After spending a couple more years in the D.C. area working for an employee rights firm, Mr. Hubbard and his wife returned to their hometown of Seattle. Mr. Hubbard then dove into becoming an expert in Washington state employment law at another small employee rights firm in the city before joining HKM in 2021.
Mr. Hubbard now represents employees with a focus on discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage rights through all phases of litigation.
