Erin Norgaard serves as Managing Partner of HKM Employment Attorneys’ Seattle, Bellevue, and Spokane offices. An accomplished litigator with more than 20 years of trial and courtroom experience, she represents employees in cases involving employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and other workplace disputes. She guides clients through every stage of litigation—from pre-suit negotiations to trial and appeal—with a steady focus on achieving justice in the workplace.
A Seattle native, Ms. Norgaard earned her B.A. from the University of Washington and her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. She began her career at the King County Prosecutor’s Office, where she served for 14 years. During her tenure, she tried more than 60 jury trials, argued over 30 criminal appeals, and prosecuted serious and complex cases, including domestic violence, sexual assault, aggravated assault, robbery, and homicide. From 2011 to 2016, she also led the District Court Unit, where she oversaw training, mentorship, and the professional development of the office’s newest trial attorneys.
Since joining HKM in 2017, Ms. Norgaard has established herself as a formidable advocate for employees, combining her trial-tested skills with a passion for protecting workers’ rights.
