Ms. Sunny Panyanouvong-Rubeck is the managing partner of our Charlotte, North Carolina office. Ms. Panyanouvong-Rubeck represents employees in all aspects of employment law matters. Prior to joining HKM Employment Attorneys, she served as a Unit Supervisor with the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office where she gained extensive jury trial experience and given the nickname of ‘Sunny badger’ after zealously fighting for her clients. Ms. Panyanouvong-Rubeck graduated from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2009 and was the first person in her family to graduate from college. As a student, she participated with the Veteran’s Law Clinic and interned with Legal Services of Southern Piedmont and the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Panyanouvong-Rubeck is a board member for Larry King’s Clubhouse and Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center.
Ms. Panyanouvong-Rubeck speaks Laotian and enjoys volunteering during her free time.
