Taylor is an attorney at HKM’s Charlotte office. He represents employees and former employees in a wide variety of employment cases involving companies big and small. Before coming to HKM, Taylor spent seven years as a criminal defense attorney in Charlotte, North Carolina, cultivating extensive trial experience involving all manner of criminal charges including murder. Since joining HKM, Taylor has recovered millions of dollars for his clients, bringing those trial and negotiation skills to bear for employees in North Carolina. He has a wealth of experience in severance negotiations, including executive-level severance negotiations.
Taylor is a graduate of Appalachian State University and North Carolina Central University School of Law. Originally from the Charlotte area, Taylor enjoys serving the workers of his home state.
