Hayden DePorter

Hayden DePorter is an attorney at HKM’s Denver office. They earned their law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law with a certificate in Workplace Law. After law school, Hayden spent three years at the Colorado Court of Appeals as an appellate law clerk where they drafted over fifty opinions. In 2023, Hayden was selected as one of 20 attorneys in the state to participate in the Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training Program (COBALT), which is a program for lawyers with demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to the legal community.

Hayden is passionate about employment issues and civil rights. They have spoken across the country, from New England to the West Coast, on inclusive workplace practices for non-binary and transgender individuals, as well as the use of inclusive language in the court systems.

Outside of practicing law, Hayden enjoys spending time with their spouse and daughter, biking, and growing vegetables in their garden.
