Val Epperson

Ms. Epperson is a part-time paralegal in HKM’s Seattle Office. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Epperson spent 35 years as a paralegal and Legal Services Supervisor in the criminal, fraud and civil divisions of the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Shortly after “retiring” in 2023, Val was persuaded by a few of her former colleagues to bring her many and varied skills to HKM.

Ms. Epperson has a strong background in supporting victims. Her dedication and advocacy come from her years of experience and an innate sense of justice for her community. Ms. Epperson is excited to continue that work by supporting clients with their employment cases.

Ms. Epperson was born in New Orleans and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys travel, live music and spending time with her family, friends and new puppy Blaze.
