Klarisse Heffner

After joining HKM in 2017 as an intake specialist, Klarisse quickly came to appreciate the diversity of issues and individuals that the firm was able to assist with. She became a legal assistant the following year, primarily supporting a team of four attorneys.

Since becoming a paralegal, Klarisse has supported an ever-evolving team in Washington and Oregon, covering several different areas of practice, including litigation, class action, trials and arbitrations. Administratively, she has built internal standard operating procedures and streamlined workflows in creative, efficient ways.

Klarisse takes great pride in her identity as a first-generation Filipino-American from a family that values  hard work, which has greatly contributed to her passion for the pursuit of justice and the dignity of employees and their rights. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family, cuddling her cat, and spending time outside.
