Richard Maughan

Richard was born in Bountiful, Utah, a city nestled at the foot of the Wasatch Mountain Range. The foothills and mountains provided endless opportunities for learning, fun, and exercise during his boyhood years. Richard graduated from Utah State University with a degree in journalism. He worked for a few years as a writer for various clients before beginning his career in sales.

He spent more than 30 years in the advertising sales industry, selling outdoor, radio, and television advertising. He always enjoyed helping business owners grow their companies and valued the relationships those interactions created.

Richard is excited to work as a client relations specialist for HKM and looks forward to connecting with clients and engaging with different personalities every day.

Richard has two children. His daughter enjoys playing youth league basketball and volleyball, as well as horseback riding year-round. His son gave up basketball to play travel league baseball. Watching and supporting his children in their favorite sports is his favorite way to spend time. He is also an enthusiastic Seattle Mariners fan.

Richard enjoys taking on DIY projects and challenging his handyman skills.

In his free time, Richard likes playing golf, riding his Harley, fishing, watching baseball, and spending time with his dog, Addie-Cotton.
