Margurite Teresa Weeks joined HKM in 2015 and has more than twenty years’ experience as a paralegal, legal staff trainer, and practice management system designer. She serves as Senior Director, Legal Operations in the San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, and Boise offices, where she is responsible for office-wide systems, process and procedure creation/implementation, and supervision of legal staff.
Ms. Weeks recently concluded two terms as Oregon’s Council on Court Procedures’ public member, where she collaborated with attorneys and judges from Oregon’s courts to amend Oregon’s Rules of Civil Procedure to keep apace in current times. She currently spends her volunteer time in her children’s classrooms, coaching Girls on the Run, and strengthening community in her area.
A transplant from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Portland, Oregon, Ms. Weeks’ interests include wellness, parkour, and napping. When not working at HKM or in her neighborhood, Ms. Weeks enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, two young children, and dogs.
