Inspira Health Network, Inc. Class Action

Case Overview

Healthcare workers have filed a class action lawsuit in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Cumberland County, alleging that Inspira Health Network violated the New Jersey Wage and Hour Law (NJWHL) and the New Jersey Wage Payment Law (NJWPL).

The lawsuit alleges that Inspira Health Network systematically failed to pay its hourly employees for all time worked through practices including:

• Time clock rounding that allegedly favored the employer
• Automatic meal break deductions regardless of whether breaks were actually taken
• Requiring Emergency Room nurses to work before and after shifts without compensation

Who May Be Affected

You may be eligible to join this lawsuit if:

1. You worked as an hourly (non-exempt) employee for Inspira Health Network in New Jersey
2. You worked at any time from April 10, 2019 to the present
3. You used Inspira Health’s electronic timekeeping system

A subclass exists specifically for Emergency Room nurses who may have been required to work before and after shifts without compensation.
