Mr. McCreanor has over 20 years of legal practice experience. He previously served as Legal Director of the Worker Justice Center of New York, founding executive director of the Rhode Island Center for Justice and the legal director of Catholic Migration Services.

He has represented individuals and groups in housing, employment, civil rights, consumer and immigration matters, frequently in close partnership with grassroots community organizing campaigns, and has served as lead counsel in class and collective actions, large multi-plaintiff cases and impact oriented legal advocacy initiatives. 

Mr. McCreanor previously served as Assistant District Attorney in a trial bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office and a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP.

He has developed and taught curricula and syllabi for several law schools covering constitutional, doctrinal, policy and legal practice issues across a range of social and economic justice issue areas.
