Mike Riley was named the head coach of the Nebraska football program in 2014. Prior to this he spent twelve seasons as the Head Football Coach at Oregon State. Before this Riley left to serve the 1998 season as Head Coach of the National Football League’s San Diego Chargers. He spent four years in the NFL, three seasons as the Chargers’ Head Coach and the 2002 campaign as the Assistant Head Coach of the New Orleans Saints.

The Coach shall pay the Athletic Department an amount of $1,000,000, in the event any claim arises against the University due to Coach's resignation to seek or accept any other employment.
"Reasonable" notice + $170,000 times the Remainder of the Months of the Term

Coach shall disclose all athletically related income from all sources outside the University.
