Mike MacIntyre was named the Head Football Coach of The University of Colorado, Boulder in 2012. Prior to that he coached San Jose State’s Football Program for four years, starting in 2009. Before that he spent two years as the Defensive Coordinator at Duke University. Prior to that MacIntyre spent five seasons in the NFL with the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys coaching Defensive Backs. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Georgia.

Coach to take prior approval for any outside employment and a detail of all outside athletic sourced income is to be provided to the University. Advance on First Contract Year Base Salary and Supplemental Salary of $500,000 to be given to Coach. *Incentive Salary shall be for performance of a)Welfare and development of Football Program student athletes, including citizenship; and support for Football Program engendered from the University of Colorado Boulder population; and b) Development of Football Program outreach, culture and reputation on campus; integration and support of campus constituencies; community involvement and development of community support for Football Program; national leadership in athletics and coach and staff citizenship.
