Before this he was with Florida State where he served as Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach from 1990-2000. Richt spent 1989 as Offensive Coordinator with East Carolina University. He started his collegiate coaching career at Florida State as Graduate Football Assistant from 1985-1988.
