Mark Dantonio was named Head Football Coach at Michigan State in 2006, where he previously served as Assistant Coach from 1995-2000. Prior to this he spent two years as Head Football Coach at University of Cincinnati. From 2001-2003, Dantonio served as the Defensive Coordinator at Ohio State. Dantonio came to Michigan State following four seasons under Glen Mason at the University of Kansas from 1991-1994.

The coach shall obtain each approval prescribed by a governing rule before accepting or enterning into outside income agreement or arrangements. The coach shall report all his income from non-university xources to the Athletics Director after the team's last regularly scheduled or post season game, if any, and prior to April 15 of each year.
