Kirk Ferentz was appointed the Head Football Coach of the University of Iowa in 1999, where he previously served as Offensive Line Coach from 1981-1989. Ferentz joined the Iowa Program after serving as Offensive Line Coach with the Baltimore Ravens (1996-1998) and the Cleveland Browns (1993-1995) of the National Football League. His coaching career began as Graduate Assistant at Connecticut in 1977.
