Kevin Sumlin was named the Head Football Coach of the Texas A&M Football program in 2011. Before this Sumlin served as Head Coach for the University of Houston a role he held since 2007. Prior to that Sumlin spent seven years as an Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the University of Oklahoma. His coaching career includes holding coaching positions with programs in Purdue, Minnesota and Wyoming.

The Coach shall report annually in writing to the President of the University through the Director, on or before October 31 of each year, all athletically related income from sources outside the University, including but not limited to, income from annuities, sports camps or clinics, housing benfits, complimentary ticket sales, internet web sites, apeaking engagements, public appearance, country club memberships, personal services contracts, television and radio programs and endorsement or consultation contracts with athletic shoe or apparel or equipment manufacturers or sellers.
