Jason Candle was named head coach for University of Toledo in 2016, but his history with Toledo runs much deeper. He started as the wide receivers coach from 201-2011, and was named offensive coordinator for 2012-2013. From 2014-2015, he stopped coaching wide receivers and began coaching quarterbacks, in addition to working as assistant head coach. Candle was a coach for Mount Union, coaching wide receivers from 2003-2006 and working as offensive coordinator from 2007-2008.
