Bronco Mendenhall is the recently-named head coach of the University of Virginia. He joined the Cavaliers after 10 years as head coach at BYU (2005-2015) and defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach prior to that (2003-2004). Mendenhall previously served as defensive coordinator, and defensive backs coach for New Mexico between 1998-2002, and was additionally named assistant head coach in 2002. Mendenhall’s coaching history begins in 1989 with Oregon State.
