Bob Diaco was named the Head Football Coach at the University of Connecticut in 2014. Previously, he served as Defensive Coordinator on the Notre Dame Football staff. Diaco served as the Defensive Coordinator, Linebacker’s Coach and Special Team’s Coordinator at Virginia for two seasons. Diaco began his coaching career in serving one seasons as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Iowa. Afterwards he served on the football staff of Western Illinois as Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach.

*Rather than Bonus for Academic Performance, University has conditioned the Coach receiving the Team Performance Bonus only if the academic performance of the team meets the APR or 930.
