
Kendra Livingston
Employment Law Attorney
Ms. Livingston is an attorney in HKM’s Atlanta office. She is a devoted advocate for justice and equity in the workplace and represents employees in all aspects of employment law matters, including but not limited to, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, disability accommodation, unpaid wages and whistleblower protection claims.
Prior to joining HKM Employment Attorneys, she served as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the District of Arizona within the Capital Habeas Unit (CHU) where she fought to protect the constitutional rights of indigent people in death-penalty cases. Additionally, she has legal experience handling products liability and personal injury cases.
Ms. Livingston graduated magna cum laude and at the top of her class from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, receiving the Class of 2018 Outstanding Graduate award. During law school, she was a recipient of the Gideon’s Promise 2017 Summer Law Clerkship award and worked with the Public Defender of Metropolitan Nashville & Davidson County Office as well as the Georgia Innocence Project. In addition, she received the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Lori Ann Haydu Scholarship award in 2015. As a student, she also enjoyed the role of Teaching Assistant/mentor to first-year, Contracts I & II law students. Ms. Livingston received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Kentucky where she majored in Journalism and minored in African American Studies. She is a diehard Kentucky Wildcats supporter!
In all her endeavors, Ms. Livingston strives for excellence. She aims to always provide the highest quality representation to her clients and seeks to achieve the best possible outcome for the employees she represents. Outside of the office, she enjoys curling up with a good book and a steaming-hot cup of coffee in hand along with hiking, sports events, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
