Mr. Hamilton is an employment litigator based in Portland, Oregon. He focuses his practice on representing employees in all aspects of employment-related matters and claims. A graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, Mr. Hamilton began his career at a legal services organization, where he practiced consumer protection and tax law. In addition to his employment practice, he has represented plaintiffs in matters related to credit reporting, illegal debt collection practices, and deceptive business practices. As a former tax attorney, Mr. Hamilton has represented taxpayers in audits, appeals, and tax collection disputes before the IRS and United States Tax Court.
While in law school, Mr. Hamilton served as a lead editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law & Inequality and as a Judicial Extern at the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. In recognition of his performance as a judicial extern, Mr. Hamilton received the George E. Beck Fellowship from the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Now focused on employment law, Mr. Hamilton is dedicated to championing the rights of workers who experience discrimination and retaliation in the workplace.
